CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Customer Cancellation

A deposit is required to secure all charters. Private charter deposits are non-refundable unless cancellation notice is received at least 21 days prior to the departure date. Moving the departure date with less than a 21 day notice from the original departure date is considered a cancellation without refund of deposit. Customer cancellation notice given within our policy terms will result in the deposit being applied to another reservation date or the deposit refunded in full at customer request. Please ask for customer cancellation confirmation number in the event of a refund due.

On split charters or public trips, a deposit of the full amount is required to confirm the reservation due to the low number of our average passenger load and to assure the minimum number of passengers necessary to make the trip. A full refund can be assured by giving at least a 5 week day notice on cancellation (for example, a reservation for a Monday trip would require cancellation by 5 p.m. the previous Monday). Please ask for a customer cancellation confirmation number in the event of a refund due.

Weather Cancellation

All trips are subject to and affected by weather. In the event of weather cancellation by the Captain, Aqua Safari Charters, LLC can apply your deposit to a future trip or refund the full amount at customer request. Unlike some deep sea fishing ports which only offer deep sea fishing, Galveston also offers Galveston Bay and Jetty fishing in protected waters. As an alternative to deep sea fishing or when a weather cancellation by the Captain prohibits deep sea fishing, or when deep sea fishing weather is marginal, we have the option of converting the trip to a bay and jetty fishing trip if agreed by the customer.
